Happy Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day for us is about family and being together. We spent the evening with Aunt Margene and Uncle Gordon, gorged ourselves on Mellow Mushroom pizza, and applied multiple fake kitty tattoos.

Weekend in Telluride

It has been years since Aaron and I had a ski vacation.  Actually, we haven’t been on skis since before Elayna was born.  This was a particular fun weekend to introduce Elayna to winter sports and spend a long weekend in Colorado.

I was nervous about how Elayna would take to skis but I shouldn’t have worried.  She was a NATURAL, but more importantly, she LOVED everything about the snow.  She loved her new ski outfit, she loved playing outside, she loved ski school. 

We skied 2 days and spent a day sledding and ice skating.  Elayna started each new activity somewhat tentatively but quickly discovered she could do it all on her own and was soon a little dare-devil. 

Aaron and I also spent some quality time together while E was in ski school.  We skied 2 whole days together and enjoyed the quality snow, sunshine, and excellent skiing conditions.  It was GREAT!
