Thanks for looking at our blog!! I'm a Montana girl at heart although we've lived in Phoenix for almost 10 years now. I adore my husband Aaron (also a Montana boy at heart) and our beautiful 2-year old daughter. We also have a cat Parker and dog Clancy to round out our little family.
In our toddler dictatorship, Elayna thoroughly rules the house. We frequently comment on how much life has changed since she joined our family. This blog is dedicated to documenting her growth, our struggles and delights.
Most about me can be summarized by my mission statement. I originally wrote this 5 years ago when I was inbetween jobs and feeling sorry for myself. These are the components of my life -- sewn together into my values and priorities.

In my marriage: to improve the quality of life we are building together through my whole-hearted devotion to Aaron's happiness.
In motherhood: to develop Elayna's character through diverse experiences and constant love.
In my friendships: to enjoy time spent with friends and seek out ways to strengthen our relationships.
In my family: to cultivate the rural spirit inherited from our Grandparents to bring out our best selves.
In my work: to grow through new thinking and continual hard work.
In my neighborhood: to contribute a trustworthy, honest attitude and share in the well-being of the community.
In myself: to thrive in all surroundings, to celebrate small victories, to entertain myself, to replenish myself with nature's beauty, and to strive to live a life pleasing to God.
