Elayna’s Awesome Dad

Last weekend was Father's Day; hopefully Elayna and I did a sufficient job of spoiling Aaron and showing him that we love him.  Aaron is such a wonderful dad -- I'm really lucky that he helps so much with Elayna and spends so much time with her.  Elayna is really lucky because he plays, reads, sings, and loves her immensely.

On Saturday, we took advantage of the Wells Fargo Appreciation Day at the Science Center.  The 3 of us got into the museum for free (although WFAD also comes with long lines, too many people, and extra costs for the Planatarium, IMax, etc).  Elayna is a little too young for most of the exhibits but she still had fun with some of the hands-on displays.  The highlight - for both baby and dad - was their new Lego room!

We continued the fun on Sunday by ... well, not doing much!!  We attended church, Aaron grilled some burgers, Alicia and I soaked in the pool, and Elayna took a huge nap!  Aaron could watch whatever he liked on TV without interruption or whining (which translated to golf).  It was a great day!

Happy Father's Day, Aaron!  We love you!

Of course, we love the other men in our lives too.  Happy Father's Day, Grandpa Jerry and Grandpa Cliff, Uncle Nate and Uncle Mike, cousins and friends.
